Completely agree on Hoban, just really hope that we can get to a place of him being able to play Sat/Tue/Sat as we will have a lot of midweek matches to play this season.

We already have 5 scheduled Wednesday matches, we have two games in hand that will most likely be played midweek, we have a rearranged Hamilton game to come when we play the semi (and maybe another for the final!!), potentially two league cup midweek games if we get as far as the semi final and that's assuming we don't beat Sporting or don't have any midweek scottish cup games and also before any covid related fixture amendments.

So a whole bunch of midweek games and if we have to continually rest Hoban we will be looking at more of the first half garbage we saw today, which will kill our season

Would assume it was a case of not risking his hammy going again with £3-4m on the line. Or he said his head is all over the place and not in the right frame of mind ('course you're not in the right frame of mind your occupation consists of heading a ball all day long).

That truly was shocking. Never got going. Horrendous mistakes today. Why on earth does he start McCrorie in defence when he has 2 right backs on the bench. Just don't get that at all. So he could accommodate a wholly ineffective Ojo? Taylor was worse than useless today. McKenna has played well so far this season and will be a big loss if as looks like he's off. Sporting Lisbon youth team could beat us on that performance. Carson not a save to make the entire game. Hopefully flush that out our system straightaway and get the heads back up. Abysmal, abject shambolic all over the pitch today. Hard to give anyone pass marks.

He said that McKenna had been in his plans but had to change that as the discussions were edging closer.
It seems it was a late change to omit McKenna and put McCrorie in there
