    One in two out

Warne said it's 1 in and 2 out, as he looks to complete the 25 man squad.

The 1 in looks like it is going to be central midfield and Barlaser.

Who are the 2 out? These maybe just loans and not permanents, he did let Ihekwe go to Accrington for half a season and he came back stronger.

    Proctor most likely.
Who else, a defender, but would thought they would need to be fit for someone to want them.
We have 4 right backs, so maybe Thompson as Jones has just signed a new deal.
Centre backs, he'll keep Ihekwe, MacDonald and Wood. Robertson can cover left back but would he let Tilt go?

Squad at minute is 26 including Proctor so say Barlaser comes in makes 27 Proctor favourite to go I reckon probably Thompson If we think we still need another left back you’d think Clarke would go out on loan that would allow us to bring a specialist left back in to compete with Mattock
This in no way is a criticism of the above players Proctor has been very unlucky with injuries and Thompson has never done anything wrong when called on Clarke is a bit of an unknown quantity and if he can get fit may yet have a part to play It’s just a case of needs must arguably the decision to give contracts to Price and Jones were strange we effectively have 4 right backs but only 1 left back the signing of Barlaser or someone similarly creative is essential

I would imagine PW is also wishing he'd done some wheeling a dealing up front a bit more. He said long before yesterday than our strikers weren't taking their chances this season
Proctor and Vassell out perhaps some time ago to allow Hirst and another to come in.
PW has said he'd like another winger or no 10 but I wonder if he now wants another out and out striker.

I wouldn't be surprised if we make an offer to Proctor to pay up his contract if we can't find another club who wants him

Yes the Price and Jones signings were baffling at the time and it could now be hampering our recruitment. Being good around the dressing room seems a bit of a luxury now.
It would be disappointing if we've got players who want to join us but it's our own fault we can't sign them on a technicality

Just seen the Spurs game and Kane and Son would be a good pair for us up top but might just be out of TS's price range

Can't think the Barlaser decision can be long off now.. anyone else hoping it'll be another loan???
I'm really not confident we will win him if it's a transfer....

Get a decent wedge in for Barlaser, he's class, who after a season or 2 will sell for decent .money, has what the Millers are the nursery for bigger clubs, to which we sell to for money well below market value.

Depends on Newcastle. They have to the 5th of Oct before they declare the 25 man squad

Cayton, the fee HAS been agreed with Newcastle. It’s Barlaser’s agent playing silly buggers.

The fee would be pretty big if agreed.

Warne isn't going to talk about agreeing fees at all.

    Less talk more action.

Why tell the world what we are doing?
