Red face Concrete lid on the Gawthorpe Black Hole..?

Looks like the Gawthorpe Black Hole has finally been capped and concreted...

Burnley squad for Leicester game: Pope, Peacock-Farrell, Bardsley, Lowton, Pieters, Taylor, Tarkowski (doubt), Long, Dunne, Thomas, McNeil, Brady, Westwood, Brownhill, Benson; Wood, Rodriguez, Vydra.

FOUR players from the Academy in the first team squad is real cause for a rousing rendition of Hip, hip hooray!

"You can't win anything with kids" -----as one pundit said, however, you will never know if they aren't given a chance. There again, it isn't our jobs that are on the line.

On other hand, Lennon gone, Hendrick gone, Barnes injured, Cork injured, Mee injured, Tarko injured, Iceland injured, Brady injured. That's 8 potential first team players gone missing I reckon tonight, number of Academy players who made it into the team as replacements, in other words, who were of some use to use...............NONE.

    Hip Hip Hoo-fecking-Ray.

Dunne was impressive and handled his EPL debut very well I thought. Playing alongside Mee will do him a power of good, because the way things are looking Tarkowski is off.

Two things with Jimmy BT, first he's not one of our Academy products, he was 18 when we signed him from United, and secondly I'm glad he's finally been given the chance to show what he's capable of. He's not a kid anymore, he's 23 next month and he has 50 League games under his belt as a loan player. He was in serious danger of turning into the next Tom Anderson.

You love splitting hairs don't you sinkov? He's out of the Development Squad, cost us next to nowt and he looks to me like he could make it in the EPL.

I saw him when he was on loan at Stanley and he never got bullied and he rubbed Barton up the wrong way, so his credentials are good!
