    Kipre

If he can't get a game against Chelsea, with us playing 3 centre halves and conceding 5 at the weekend. Then was there any point bringing him in?

He's got to be worth a shout ahead of Bartley in any formation. If not then serious questions need to be asked regarding scouting and recruitment. It's all well and good picking players up on the cheap with a view to making a potential profit, but not if it takes funds away from primary targets. We needed squad depth. There's little point spending money on a centre half if he can't get above the fairly low limbo bar set by Kyle fuggin' Bartley.

Just out of interest what's everyone's opinion about Ajayi? Bartley and Johnstone seem to have copped all the flack after Saturday and other games yet imo Ajayi has also cost us goals but seems to escape any criticism at all.

Has bad moments as well as good. For a big lad he lacks presence for me. Surprised the amount of times he seemed to lose/misread the flight of balls straight down the middle last season and ended up miss timing jumps. Pace gets him out of trouble on occasions. A plus is that he's usually quite composed on the ball. I think he'll improve with more appearances and experience though. He does have the potential to do so.

Bartley or Ajayi - both have their faults and both had their moments. At times Bartley seems the stronger option for me but has no pace! Premier? Both not good enough if you had to be really honest........ Remember Jonas and even Dawson - Bartley and Ajayi could not lace their boots and they had faults too but cut above! Foster three times better than Johnstone!

God - remember Evans too! What have we done as a club! Then you consider Rondon and Gayle against Kanu and Austin!

    You can't make it up!

Even in this pandemic...players and especially their agents seem to hold all the cards.....I would imagine we have made offers but as a limited club...those offers keep falling short...I'm use to it with this club so I would never expect any excellent players to have The Albion as their number one choice.....unless they are retired (or at least should be).
I think our first target should be to get more then Derby's abysmal season of ...what 9 points? I think we are probably odds on to be the relegated team from the EPL, if not already....

Correct...remember back in the day when we could park the bus after scoring....?
No buses in sight nowadays and when 3 come along they apparently all break down at the same time!!

Playing three centre backs doesn’t work for us, wrong skill set of our players. 433 is the way to go for us, in my opinion. Hey ho, my opinion, as for all supporters, counts for fu*k all. In my opinion, none of our defenders can provide a defence capable of staying in this league. Roll on the Championship.
