    Well unless we get some concrete news from the NL tomorrow there may be no point in even playing it. Mind you if we do I wonder if Roberts will start?

    Anything bar a victory and expect the usual mild panic, rampant hysteria and deluge of ridiculously comments on here.

    Personally I don't really care about pre season results , but would be nice to win purely to avoid the laughable drivel from the usual suspects on here.

    If we win it will be a meaningless friendly and Ardley should be expected to win these games....if we draw or lose then it’s Ardley out, of course.

    We will win though, 2-1.

    As friendlies go, this must be the most meaningless we'll ever play.
    Testimonials aside, when have we gone back to playing friendlies after the first competitive game? Juventus, a fund raising game for Lifeline a few weeks after it was set up and that team from Ukraine are the only three I can think of in the last 40 years.
