900/10000x100= 0.9% ie less than 1% of all tests are false positives.

I think they have been conning us with 20 people out of 100000 being the way they expressed the number of infections. if you express that as a percentage 20/100000x100=0.02%
Cheers, got the arithmetic, showing "my workings" no so clever.

Why can't a govt minister understand that?

And bear in mind both Govts are basing these lockdowns on these figures, not deaths or even hospitalisation.

And doubling every 7 days is another lot of *******s as the great Peter Hitchens explains very well on his blog.

I've been trying to say this to people for months. The actual number of deaths attributable to Covid-19, even by their ridiculous 'positive within the last 28 days before dying in an accident' measure, is negligible.

Nicola giving it the old sad voice with 'sadly over the last 24 hours two people have died' is shocking to me. A lot more than that have died and most likely from the same causes as the two.

The whole thing is driven by worst case scenario planning; ridiculous over estimation is the real pandemic. But let's trust the science.

Earlier this week I read an article on the BBC news website about three UK males who have been stuck in Italy for the last five weeks after one of them tested positive for Covid-19. They were teaching English at a language school. They are now clear of the virus and a local doctor has confirmed this. However to leave Italy you have to provide two successive negative tests. Each time they are tested for Covid-19 it comes up positive because they still have some dead coronavirus cells in their body which are triggering a positive result.
It is high time that the so called ‘experts’ admit that there is a problem with these tests but it will have to be dragged out of them as they will never admit that they have made a mistake.

That's the thing you can't question, doubt or even try and interpret things yourself without being accused of being a denier, granny killer or worse.

People are easily fooled, scarily easily.

I watched a video on Facebook yesterday that featured David Icke. Now the guy's completely mental and talks some real off the wall nonsense however he was talking on some VLOG interview about how the people must not give up their freedom and liberty by meekly accepting all the restrictions being put in place by the government but need to stand up and push back against it. So deep down he does talk some sense I suppose, just not much.

Funny video, he was being interviewed by one of the weirdest women I've ever seen who sat and nodded agreement with everything he said, organising some rally in London on Saturday at which he's expecting 30,000 people. If he gets 30 he'll be doing well. But he kept saying he knew what the ultimate aim was with all of this, said it three or four times, but didn't say what that ultimate aim was. Could it be that his predicted series of natural disasters that will see the whole of Tayside and Fife engulfed by a massive tidal wave is about to come true?

Or is he just still bat**** crazy?

He's nuts but correct about freedom and liberty.

This is a wee true story from yesterday.

    1st argument 're mask.

I was pulled up by this woman worker who said ( quite politely) "mask" as I walked in.

I said " I'm exempt"....but I'll go elsewhere if you insist, no problem.

She then muttered " a million Scots dead and you can't cover your face"

I said "sorry, how many scots"

She was a bit flustered I had heard and repeated " a million or something"

I said " I take it you know how many Scots there are on this planet"

Her answer....wait for it....." aye, loads"

Now is this fear, mis information, ****e education system or what.

But any disagreement em in now am gonna try and use the phrase "aye loads" because it's a pus shutter....it shut my pus anyway and really how can you argue with that.

Maybe sturgeon should get up and say loads infected loads in intensive loads deid and ahh bugger would comply.
