    Cal Injury

    Anyone who is more of an 'insider' at the club got any news on this?

    Don’t think they’ll have a prognosis for a couple of days yet. Hopefully it wont be as bad as it looked it might be.

    Unless it's something really bad we don't generally release statements about individual injuries other than when they're mentioned in pre/post match press conferences so I doubt we'll hear anything until Ardley speaks to the press next.

    Based on what he said post match I thought it sounded better than something like a break or knee ligament tear, unless his achilles was damaged

    Yeah, I think we'd know by now if he'd broken his ankle or torn his achilles. Hopefully it looked worse than it actually was. The fact Cal was tweeting after the game and didn't mention much about the injury suggests it's not as bad as we feared.

    Taken from Twitter:

    Ardley on
    @Calroberts_
    : "We think it's good news. The scan shows no break or ligament damage. We're hopeful but not getting too excited just yet.

    "He could turn up next week and feel great, but on the flip side it could take a week or two to settle down."
