Wakefield AFC ( who play at Shafton ) have called today’s game off as a player tested positive.
They’ve been playing previously with crowds close to 300.

No...... I’m not criticising, I totally agree with the normal bit Animal, and we all have to do,stuff to keep us stable. My son in law scouts/Coaches for a team and went to a game over Liverpool way last week and says he won’t do it again as there was no space at all.
Everton were playing and the club house was heaving.....
I was just imagining in my head folk leant on railings two deep... enjoy it, wasn’t meant as criticism.

Went to see my grandson this morning and took the little chap for a walk in his pushchair .

Got a bit carried away with the walk Roma , enjoyed it too much and didn't get home till 2.30pm .

Either way it was lovely to get out with him and did me the world of good too .

Since Notts dropped down to the National League i saw a lot more non league football than I had envisaged but I also go down to watch Carlton Town if Notts are away and it's very enjoyable Saturday afternoon with the players very committed and only seven quid to get in

What's the financial situation at Notts ?

The league hasn't started as yet which must be concerning .

We are lucky compared to other clubs in the lower leagues, our owners are Christoffer and Alexander Reedtz who own Football Radar and seem pretty well off and their dad is a billionaire, they have stated that they are there for the long term but that was before Covid arrived, they've strengthened the squad lately but all said and done they probably see Notts as an investment but they are huge fans of football which is a bonus rather than some businessman who wanted a new toy

Hey up Chalky kid, I still can't believe your Notts County Fc are a non league team these days.
Remember I went and asked Admin if your teams board could stay on the Footymad network as well, because none of us knew if relegation to the non league would mean deletion.
