Agree. Thought the comments about how the experts were envious of the ability of the Chinese leaders to order their citizens what to do. There is a weakening of the democratic ethos IMO. Authoritarian responses seem to be gaining ground and coming from a Liberal elite who are delighted to see long established customs being put to the sword.
