    Better all round.
As far as I am concerned any political party which just puts up candidates to be elected as list MSPs are ‘mickey mouse’.
I suggest that you cast your mind back to the inaugural elections for the Scottish Parliament.
The voters throughout Scotland were encouraged to cast their second list vote for one of the minority parties such as the Greens, Scottish Pensioners Party etc.
However in practice this did not work as it led to minority parties holding the balance of power as the Green Party are currently doing.
There is a simple solution which would get rid of this nonsense of a minority political party such as the Greens holding the balance of power at Holyrood.
At present there are 129 MSPs at Holyrood.
Reduce the number of constituencies to 64 and elect the candidates receiving the highest and second highest number of votes in each constituency. Only one candidate per each political party is permitted to stand for election in each constituency.
This would force the Green Party to put forward candidates to stand in some if not every constituency whereas at present they are guaranteed some MSPs due to voters taking pity on them and voting Green for their list vote.

Mr sunak can delay unemployment but cannot stop it......well said Peter.

    Youth unemployment touching 15%.

Yet some on here think there is no lockdown cause folk are queuing for fish and chips.😂

This country may well have had it's chips.

Someone is triggered, so much he's forgotten which country he lives in, no lockdown in Scotland

Covid is a nice coverall for brexit, though, just blame thousands of jobs lost to a criminal enterprise on a virus, that's how the far-right want it to go

I think you are right about covid being a bigger worry than Brexit.

They are both massive worries with huge downsides for the UK in 2020. One was entirely voluntary though Peter Hitchens and the likes will never be honest about that

Whatever you do, do not mention 20,000 deaths a year from tory austerity, don't mention the 8% downturn in the economy because of brexit, don't mention the hundreds of suicides caused by murdering tory *******s sanctioning people, just blame it on the covid, that's the far-right science-denying covidiot mantra we must all follow

Some people should maybe look in the mirror rather than try to justify themselves on here. Naming no names
