    As dodgy as the handball was, there have been loads of similar ones recently - the way Scouse Jamie went on, you’d think the rule was made up specifically for our benefit - what a bell end.

    It’s because it went against a media darling team. It happens to us, Palace, etc. and no one bats an eye lid.

    Mind, what I would say is that it was against Spurs...who were against our takeover so if the goal was good for something, it was good for pissing off the club and their fans.

    I don't like the new handball ruling at all,but under that rule it was a definite penalty.

    What's really sad-and very telling about the way we feel about the club at the moment-is that normally after an injury time equaliser we'd be full of celebration on the match thread. But today? Nothing.

    Sad times.

    I don't have any doubts there'll be better times ahead but with the takeover failed, Ashley and Bruce in a talentless tandem of haplessness and no crowds adding to the whole surreal atmosphere (or lack of it) it's all a very hollow experience at the moment.
