    Vardy and Wood Penalty

What is the difference between the Jamie Vardy penalty and the Chris Wood penalty - except one given one not given. Inconsistency or what????

Yes & No Lancaster 100; How come all the "Pros" yesterday on SKY think a push in the back is not a foul for Burnley in the box, when anywhere else on the field it's a a foul and possibly a yellow card? We have a terrible record for awarding penalties for us over a long period. What are the VAR people looking at exactly I do not understand it.

None Lancaster , but it’s as we’ve debated previous VAR is still human interpretation all that’s happend is it’s moved from the field to a studio, we’ll get nothing from Sky because we’re not a fashionable club ( they don’t want us in the league)

It will be really interesting their stance if the Americans invested in us

Vardy is renowned for 'winning' penalties whereas Chris Wood is just a novice and needs to perfect the art. Having said that, I remember Ashley Barnes being wiped out by the keeper in a match in February 2019 and he was booked for diving! Opponents were ------Southampton! That was the second year running that we had been denied a penalty against the Saints at the Turf and this year made it three!

Just one of those things, Vardy was travelling at speed and went crashing down, Wood was almost immobile and did a sort of gentle belly flop. C'est la vie.

Wood does not do "travelling at speed" sinkov. But a push in the back, is still a push in the back.

BT --not at Burnley it isn't -----that is now 2 PL home games in succession that we have lost and been denied penalties in both of them. Jay v Brighton when our new acquisition pushed him in the back and Chris on Saturday. C'est la vie!
