Hi Mick, that's a great looking car my Mk1 was a metalic blue.
When you look back at the old cars you had and the prices they fetch now.
I've had MGB's and a Gtv8 Costello version ,Tr6's,Stag and 2 escorts Mk1 Mexico and a Rs2000.
Would have made a great pension plan,if had kept a couple.

I paid £1095 for my Ford Capri 1600 GT in 1980 when it was 7 years old Lloyd.

If I’d just put a tarp over it as I was then it’d be worth £10k to £15k now rather than the £550 I traded it in for eventually 😪

I traded my Mk2 Capri for a orange Avenger plus £1k so i could take my girlfriend who is now my wife for 36 years,on holiday.
Best deal i ever did great holiday in Greece and knew she was the one,we got married the next year.
My mates took the mick with the Avenger, only planned to keep a couple of months ended up keeping it for 3 years after buying our ist house.
The father in law then had the Avenger off me, he run it for another couple of years never missed a beat.
