Cardiff City home 03/10/20 match thread

We're so used to going on a bit of a winning run followed by a losing one.
I don't think this run will come to an end this weekend.
    What say you?

While they have this Dolan kid in this form, and it's clearly given everyone a lift, and I do feel like he will be the difference. I feel this run will carry on. While I think this will be alot closer than the previous 2 games, I think Rovers will edge this, 2-1 win.

We can't be reliant on Dolan.
Either he'll run out of steam or someone will crock him

I just watched the highlights from the U-23 game.
Some very slick passing and finishing there.
What a bonus it will be if Chapman finally comes good. Apart from being able to beat a man, he certainly has an eye for a penetrating through-ball.
As you all know, I tend to be pessimistic when things are going well, but I find a bright side when they're not.
Don't ask me why. I've always been like that.
I will say now, though, that I am feeling quite buoyed by what I've seen.
I also need to witness us grinding out a one-nil or salvaging a late draw before I start to look at the top six, but I suspect the Championship is slightly weaker this season than last.
Anyone got strong thoughts about the strongest team, this year?
At this point, I'm not at all sure. Bournemouth?
My cousin in Bristol isn't convinced about BC. He says they've flattered to deceive too often.
He also says they were lucky to beat Coventry, who apparently played really well.
It might come down to which teams have the shortest and fewest losing runs!

Surely it will be the same team again with one enforced change, Nyambe for JRC!!!?

Or will he return to type and put Gallagher out wide and Bennett at FB? It's sad that anyone could even contemplate that.

Ayala rumoured to be making his debut in place of the injured, in training, Lenihan.

    Yes, Nyambe and Ayala in.
It's a poor subs bench but we do have a few injury problems.

It was never going to be an easy match.
We still can't unlock organised defences. I still don't see the point of playing Brereton, Gallagher or Chapman.
Bell had a good game albeit with little defensive work involved, another clean sheet!

So we've beaten two very poor teams and that is a positive.
However we've played two organised teams and gained just 1 point.

This (depleted) team has shown the sort of football they are capable of, scintillating stuff!
Has TM returned to type (Gallagher out wide ffs!)

Only time will tell and I fear the worst.
