Interesting to see that Trump getting Covid (he had to do it as a leader!) doesn't seem to have done him much good in the polls. Biden maintains a strong lead and is as short as 4/9 to be elected with Trump out to 15/8*, the longest price he's been. The American voting system is a strange one, but I'm optimistic Trump will be out. We'll then witness the biggest sulk in the entire history of sulking!
* note to sid - I think you've got a £20 bet on the US election with seriouspie. The 15/8 on offer for Trump puts you in a position where you can't lose. Stick £20 on Trump and you break even if he loses. If he wins you would get £57.50 back. That would cover your £20 payment to serious, your £20 stake, and leave you with £17.50 profit.

Yes, the bet was made approximately three years ago when Mueller was preparing his report and the rumblings of impeachment were in the air and Trump looked in real trouble. I do admit to saying that Trump would win this 2020 election on many occasions but that was not the bet we made. However, apart from our differing political views, I respect your honesty and for this reason will take the following action. The main charity I support is the Beaumond House hospice in Newark and this coming Tuesday will call in and donate £20. This will cover the bet should the Donald expire in any way before his term is finished and I lose. You can phone Beaumond House on Tuesday afternoon (01636 610556) to see I have done this and the donation will be listed as being paid by Seriouspie. Everybody wins and should you lose (which I think you will) you can do a similar arrangement at your end.
Should we ever bet on anything again, we must not look too far into the future ....... we may not last that long!!
