    Transfer Window, Roberts

Great performance today, matched City for most, so massive boost going forwards.
Roberts, young, had injury problems, but sadly dont see any real improvements - in a position where we are lacking players and quality, think it maybe time to move on - either perm or loan.
Think we need commanding DM / CM as alternative to Phillips, and replacement for Roberts. Hernandez looking more like a " bit part player " so a ***** position to fill.

He is only 21 so has lots of time to improve - if he stays fit he will get better. That is not to say we can’t buy better but wouldn’t write him off just yet.

Still really very young and it's a big step up plus he's not really being played where it suits him. We need to keep players like him for the future. He's somewhere between the U23s and first team at the moment, we need to stick with him.

think we'd be better off playing one of the U-23 strikers. have some good ones. one of them will step up if given a chance.

Poveda looks like he belongs as does Shackleton when he used to get in. Roberts looks a little intimidated and lost.

Think Roberts needs a bit more time to learn his position at this level. He came from the U18's at WBA, didn't really get a run as striker for us and has now been put in to our current 1st team squad playing as a 10 on occasion.

I think a year out on loan at a club that plays decent football will do him the world of good. Somewhere like Norwich would be a perfect fit for him especially if Cantwell ends up with us.

As it stands Roberts just does not look good enough at this level but lets be honest here he was very hit and miss in the championship.

Loan him out or sell him on.

Still think he has the potential to become a good player, Loan him out so that he gets plenty of game time [Something he has never really enjoyed here] then see what we get back - if still not up to it - sell him
