    Exeter, alternative match report.

Limp, flaccid, impotent, stale, empty, rancid. Thats the real Cambridge, like yesterday. There are countless examples in military history of inferior forces beating far superior ones, so how do they do it? By identifying weaknesses, overwhelming them, and than going for the throat.

To turn up, and defending mindlessly, doesnt work.

    They see you coming.

If you dont go for the throat, you will be overwhelmed, eventually. There must be a new approach to footballing tactics, the appliance of intelligence can only help. As someone said, you cant keep doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.

What was the attacking plan for yesterday?, was there one? If you dont plan to win, you will lose, this game and countless others are lost before kick off.

Maybe its about developing a cunning plan and its execution. Just playing 442 taxes the understanding of an everyday footballer, as Bonner has said.

Anything more complex is asking way to much.

To have no attacking and winning plan is also a dead end. Teams should be picked not because players are on form or off form, but picked to take advantage of the opposition. If the opponent has a slow left back, put Dunk on the right wing. Dont get negative by saying he plays on the left. Convention should be ripped up.

There must be a million alternatives to undressing the opposition.

Start thinking . Chances of that?, none.
