    Used to love deadline day...now it's just a relief if we don't sell anyone.

    Same.

    I remember many years ago when the board would be buzzing on transfer deadline day. You'd have the thread go so quickly that by time you'd reply it would be on a new page.

    And the board shall buzz again...it'll just take Ashley gone for it to happen.

    There are mighty forces against that happening, sadly. The same mighty force will see us sold to a 'nice' owner who will buy the club on tick.

    The Premier League are looking after the fans of Newcastle United, that is obvious !!!
