    What 5 players

    The new owners were planning to buy if the takeover had gone ahead according to a blog.

    Feck me it's like Bullseye,Jim Bowen saying this is what you could have won.

    What they had planned for us doesn't bear thinking about.

    I think they would have made some good signings but not spent crackers like was thought.
    Maybe Cavani and the Chelsea defender from PSG on short term deals and for shirt sales. I think they would have still went for what we did get and possibly a couple of current fringe players that would get into our team like Loftus Cheek and Bakayoko

    they always indicated they wouldn't be going crackers like man city for instance. suited me fine

    I think it would have been a 'stepped' process with susequent windows each seeing us bring in a better calibre of player from the previous one.
