Totally agree with that pal. Chairmen and fans want everything yesterday! I'm far happier with Warne still managing our club than having a revolving door with new Managers every 6 months. As a small club we have truly learned our lesson on this since Evo left.
IF we go down I think it would be a big mistake for Stewart to sack Warne and he should stick with him. We are indeed a yo -yo club between leagues but that's our identity and who we are, having a stable Manager is part of a good set up. It's just the financial clout we miss.
Ipswich lost again tonight 0-1 against Sunderland at home, not helped by the sending off of Striker Kayden Jackson, which gives the player a 3 game ban.
Ipswich manager Paul Lambert put under more pressure, with a big injury list at the club, Jackson's dismissal not helping his cause, more pressure from the fans, calling for Lambert to be sacked.
6 home defeats in 7, having also lost 8 games against the current top 7 in division one, failed to score in six games, the club slip to 10th in the league.
Lambert on a 5 year contract, means a sacking will cost the club in compensation, in the current climate can the the club afford to sack Lambert, fetch another manager in, on a wage, plus with injuries in the team, will the club have to fetch players in, if so it could be that they will be on loan, and be unproven players, the need for a striker becomes more of a issue, with Jackson's 3 game ban, with other strikers out injured.
Again it seem Ipswich have again failed in a promotion push, exactly the same has last season, when they looked a team that would get promotion, but failed.
It seems a bad decision by the Ipswich Town board giving such a long contract, that looks like it has come back to bite them.
Has reported Thomas Tuchel becomes manager of Chelsea.
Looking bad for Celtic manager Neil Lennon, after losing 1-2 at home to St Mirren.
The Celtic manager really under pressure.
AFC Wimbledon have chosen to sack their manager after the club suffered a 2-0 defeat against Milton Keynes Dons on Saturday.
The Wombles boss Glyn Hodges said sorry to fans after the loss, leaving them 21st in the League One table, taking 22 points from 25 games played this season.
Should have signed Lamy on a perm. No sympathy at all
