Thread: How do you rate the transfer window?

I agree it is very hard to judge how well we have done in this transfer window until we have more games/results.

However what I do like about the business we have done, is that no-one is guaranteed a place in the team anymore. We have cover for every position, whether it be youth players coming through the ranks or players recently signed.

I think we have a real good blend of experience in the squad now.

Wouldn’t have minded a hard working Brit from the championship but overall, it was very good.

Maybe I am just an old softee...but to me one of the best signings has to be Beradi.

To play for us after his contract had ended to help us get promoted in the final few games and then to suffer the ACL injury must have been devastating for him.

A huge well done to the club for looking after him. I hope he gets to play in at least one of our games this season.

Not soft at all - shows how much the culture of the club has changed for the better.

Did you see the statement from Bielsa saying the prem should make sure they save leagues 1 and 2 - finally we seem to be a club who not only knows the cost of things but the true value of things too.

Put another thread up on the Bielsa statement, very good IMHO.

And no, not soft at all. About time clubs showed their commitment to players who "get it", and Berardi is very much so, as is just about every other 1st team squad player.

Eastleigh 2-2 Aldershot in today's big Hampshire National league derby game and Ross McCormack came on as a sub for Aldershot and saw Eastleigh grab an equaliser 2 minutes later in injury time.Had over almost £25m spent on him in transfer fees before his electric gates would not open and finished his alcohol fuelled pro career.

I keep telling you, I dont care what happens to Eastleigh, or those who visit for any reason.

As for McCormack, i care even less.
