Thread: How do you rate the transfer window?

How do you rate the transfer window?

Big thumbs up from me - signed some internationals who have improved the quality in the squad. Signed some very talented youngsters too.

Rodrigo, Geldhert, Jimmy and Koch all look great.

    A minus from me.

Same is best transfers for a long time than again we were down for a long time.
I would love to see all new signing in the same team as jury might still be out.
The new spanish defender and the brazilian look ok and Rodrigo is coming on faster than i thought.(If he don't play instead useless Roberts)well mb will be madder thand he is now.

Saw a BBC article that did not even list us as a top performing team in the transfer market.

Not saying much but ours was so much better than several of the "big teams". Scum's was a nightmare and some of the others were no great shakes.

Liked the diversity of it a lot. some players ready for first team and others that will be future players.

Only down side was we could not offload Kiko.

It's very hard to compare how well we did as we have nothing to compare it with. If we are comparing against other teams it's much too early to compare as some top teams look bad some look really good eg Everton.

No Mrs. O but I think we all knew the difference from EPL to premier league dividends so nothing unknown there.
Buy buying decent players they help you up the ladder so more income.
The 100 mil helps pay for our transfers so if they don't succeed clubs are in real trouble as the wage demands and fees paid well you know what happens.
But with this thread it is hard to compare it with anything as we haven't been in this position for ages and comparing to other clubs well seriously we have won 2 games against the 2 bottom sides and it's just 2 early. Plus we haven't seen the 2 latest recruits in action so how can we compare.

A decent window with maybe one more to come from the championship?

Oz - watched a bit of the u23s - think 3 or 4 of the new signing to boost that squad could step up - Jimmy, Geldhart, Greenwood and Jenkins - at some point this season.

    Happy days indeed.

Charlie Allen has been listed in the 20 exciting prospects for the prem too.

    did they forget Greenwood?

That Dean kid looked good took his chances and could have had another 2 was unlucky. Disappointed with our first team player's Pat looked like he didn't cares much don't blame him though.

spending loads of cash isnt the same as signing the right players. I think we have signed the right players.
