Thread: the squad post transfer window

    the squad post transfer window

ok so theres still a domestic 1 available but i doubt we'll use that

meslier, casilla, ayling, douglas, koch, cooper, alioski, llorente, dallas, forshaw, costa, raphinha, hernandez, harrison, phillips, klich, bamford, rodrigo

i think if all those 18 were fit and ready to play, that would be our 18 right now (i know the 18 is whatever Marcelo picks, i'm saying that hyperthetically), baring in mind if berardi wasn't injured he'd be a good squad member too, then the youngsters caprille, struijk, davis, poveda, shackleton, roberts, just to name a few, i'm very happy with the business the club have done in this window, most of our new first team players are full internationals for their country, so although a lot of money has been spent (estimated to be 100 million quid) its been spent on quality, unlike what other newly promoted teams have done and bought foreign dross never capable of competing in the PL

the above squad depth is perfect for marcelo, 18 senior players with potentially an u23 starting 11 backing them all up, its exactly what Marcelo likes to have, i think credit goes to Andrea, Victor, Marcelo, and Angus for how the club have done their business this season, now lets see the team kick on and do great things this season.

anyone think any different about the above?

Picking up from another thread, the squad remind me of Blue Minks 'melting pot' - in a good way I should add
