    the timing is a bit odd

    purely guess work here but the reports of the new rules the PL want to get in place must be because of our takeover.

    I think the PL have had no choice but to let slip to the media about the new rule changes and the fact they have been getting discussed since 2017 because of the QC,s working for Ashley.

    A sort of damage limitation and would not look as bad as Newcastle uncovering the plot in the courts

    It really doesnt look good for the PL, the greed and shlt. I bet theres loads more to come out after this

    its disgusting

    but is it the premier league or the top 6 or 2 of the top clubs in particular ?

    i got the impression the premier league weren't happy about it being announced and that they were in fact against it

    mind im not certain either.
