[QUOTE=hgatenasty;39597298]Why is dropping the charity shield any good, it' only 1 game, some good moments (Bremner v Keegan 74, 4-3 v Liverpool 92)
Money goes to charity and the clubs who compete in 1st Round of FA Cup
We are the last club to compete as Football League Champions.
With you on the charity shield good curtain raiser to the season.
This proposal stinks. It is nothing less than a power grab. Typical of most "big business" in the US
Reduce the league to 18 and only allow less than half a vote..... What next? Reduce the league even more like they wanted to do a few years ago and then invite some of the bigger European Clubs and finally get the European League they have been after for years with no promotion or relegation.
Let's hope the other 18 clubs tell them to pee off.
After further direct contact with fans & clubs alike the FSA (Football Supporters Association) have issued this statement. https://thefsa.org.uk/news/project-b...-cyanide-pill/
For information clarity,Temporary FFP Covid 19 rule changes mean top flight clubs finances will now be assessed over an average of last season and next season together - rather than just the 2019-20 campaign. So since Sep 2020 Uefa announced all clubs will be allowed to write off any losses or extra spending caused by the Covid-19 crisis - such as reduced gate receipts or lower television income.

Of the clubs pushing for changes leaked documents show Everton are potentially the biggest beneficiaries of the FFP new rule and the latest shake up proposals- based on what we know about Everton's likely turnover, costs and player trading for the years (2019-20) a probable turnover of £220 million against costs £340 million plus player trading profit (estimated £60 million) shows a loss of £60 million before financial adjusting for youth, community, their ladies team financing costs plus any capitalised costs associated with their new £500m stadium being built at Bramley Moore Dock Liverpool that is to be ready by late 2023.
Makes Radz financial planning set-up pure genius compared to this gang of cut throats with there double dealing shenanigans with what I've seen and Spurs don't look to good either.
