If it cannot be seen that several players simply bring nothing to the team then its time to pack up and close tannadice.

The contributions made by the same offenders every week is shyte and the opportunity should be given to any 14 year old with the heart to pull on a United shirt as they will contribute more than the current wearers.

Our midfield and attackers should have been ripping Kelty a new one. Instead there was the fear of us being pumped again.

    Pawlett Leave
    Clark Leave
    Appere Leave
    Butcher (sorry to say)
    Harkes (needs to shape up)

Our best player last night with the most accurate passing, drive and any type of vision was actually Connolly, he was taken off 20 mins from the end before his habitual brainfart..............

Was difficult to watch, but fear we are in danger of over reacting just a touch. Definite issues, but easy to iron out and obviously more quality waiting to come in.

We look better with 3 at the back, but are still far too deep. Kelly offered nothing and sat 11 men behind the ball. When our defenders have the ball and are playing out, there is no need for Butcher and (inexplicably Pawlett) to drop in too. Played with 5 men in front of them leaving their 10 outfield players to pick up our other 5 players. Easy to do for any team at any level who are set up defensively. Need our defenders to bring the ball out more (like the young lad Neilson does) commit them and our midfielders to be brave enough to stay in midfield.

Out wide we struggled with getting any quality into the box despite creating plenty of chances to do so. Am afraid Louis is struggling. Doesn't win headers, doesnt have the strength his build suggests and was lacking a first touch (admittedly he and Clark had at least two for company every time the ball came near, and no midfielders anywhere close) so not the easiest.

All easily fixable stuff, but needs to be accompanied by tempo in our game. Move the ball a hell of a slow. Fake tempo like quick free kicks that achieve nothing is not the same thing. Can only come with confidence though. Difficult game to build that at the weekend, but at the same time may be exactly what we need.

Wouldnt be throwing any individual players under the bus but free from the list above that Pawlett and Appere brought nothing to the game last night (aside from corner delivery).

Agreed our dear Man O' War. Just the reaction after the Peterheid game that we were looking for. A solid defensive unit that gave nothing away, pressing well into injury time in the first half; scoring on the half time stroke to such the wind out of Kelty's sails, from which they never recovered. Who can doubt we could have won that game by six or more goals? If we had turned up that is!

Someone needs to kick Harkes's cat. Get him angry. I watched that Spurs documentary with Mourinho. He wanted all his team to be bar.stards for 90 minutes.
