    Louis Appere

So today, no Shankland, no Chalmers, no Clark, no McNulty and Appere STILL can't get a start...............

Its amazing how manager's can view players differently. Hardly out the team last season, now struggling to make the bench.

Assume he is on the bench at least.

Has to get some game time.

Apere on at half time (I think)

Neither of them doing very much as we've only had 3 shots and none on target. (80 mins)

Found out against Cammy Kerr, that he wasn't as fast as all were saying. Now looks like he has been enjoying all the food outlets opening up again.

Cue - Divine Comedy , National Express .................

i didnt think appere was as great as everyone said last season. he started last year very good when being up with shankland in a 2 then he got dragged wide on the left which where he done ok but nothing special imo.

I always felt he was one who would struggle to get in the squad this season whoever was in charge. if you struggle to get anything from defenders in the championship like cammy kerr then against better players he would struggle esp on the wing.

hope he proves me wrong but i cant see it im afraid

If I recall Louis performed best when played in the middle beside LS. Don't think you see the best of him out wide and that's where RN played him most of the time.

Two players in the centre striking up a partnership is a challenge for any defence.
Time we did it again with McNulty and Shankland.

He started the season on fire up top beside Shanks. I thought he was still very decent out on the left. Dangerous cutting inside and took defenders away from Clark which is half the reason Clark was so effective.
