Thread: Tony Asghar

What an almighty balls up by Ashgar if it's true Hearts won't be paying us a penny for Lewis Neilson. Mark Ogren will be furious if it indeed turns out to be the case . Also Ashgar always banging on about his relationship with the fans and building better communication , still no official word from the club on Tam Courts to Rijeka link . Poor communication all round I'd say .

Not booking the I love Tony tattoo just yet but given I have criticised him I have to give credit where it's due.
    Keep it going

Two excellent signings. Well done TA and MO. They've pushed the boat out, and hopefully it will pay off for the benefit of MO and the club.

The club continues to advance year on year, TA should get huge credit, he would certainly get the blame if things went in the other direction. I doubt there is a manager in the top flight who would not jump at the chance to sign one or both, of our recent acquisitions, and their fans will have their noses pressed against our window wondering how we did it…..again!😁

Not disagreeing with the sentiment but I doubt the top 3 would have been clamouring to sign 35 year old Steven Fletcher. I'm really hoping he serves me up a large slice of humble pie and he will get my full backing but I remain sceptical for now. Dylan though is gonna be a fantastic signing and can only be better with a full season and preseason behind him.

I get what your saying, but to be fair mate I doubt very much that we have signed anyone over the past few seasons that either of the top 2 maybe 3 wld have wanted to sign. If so they wld not be coming to us. Fletcher will do a job for us (when he plays). Maybe not the prolific goal scorer we are all wanting, hopefully that’s still to come But he can hold a ball up and has the ability plenty to feed those around him. Worth a punt in my opinion. 🧡🖤

Some doubted Mulgrew’s signing….I certainly didn’t, and don’t for Fletcher. He is an upgrade on what we’ve had over the past few seasons, and you simply cannot beat experience in this league. I think he’ll link up great with Watt, and will be on the same wavelength (something McNoscore certainly wasn’t)
