Feel free to ask for more dietary tips, I’m here all week.

    Stay safe.
Ha ha that made me laugh, Exiled. You know, the irony is, for all my veggie eating, I'm the one who's ill, so maybe there's something in it. Could never do liver and bacon, but if the veggie juicing doesn't work, I'll be ordering a 6 pack of Stella x

I always find Junk food works well or a bowl of soup!
Sou ds like you are on the mend MW, hopefully
As for you Bongo, not the time for conspiracies even if I like one or two myself.
    Toffs me thinks!
Ha ha re the masks. We should start a thread on get well food

It's a bit weird, I have a good couple of days, and think I'm on the mend, then bam! it hits me again, but I hope overall I'm heading in the right direction. It's just taking a verrrry long time to shake it off ... It could have been much worse though, so grateful for that.

Aww thank you, my friend. You know, I tried listening to the match in bed, on the radio, but only managed the first 10 minutes and I was out cold (a frequent occurrence at the moment). Luckily, it happened during the Leeds match, not the Liverpool one, so always a silver lining. I'm putting the match result down to a nightmare. Then it doesn't count.

    Hi Dazzy,

Gosh, I'm really sorry to hear your sister had the virus too and is still struggling with tiredness and anxiety symptoms etc xx. Yes, it really sucks all the energy from you. I was sleeping about 18 hours a day early on, got down to just needing an afternoon nap level, then symptoms kicked in again, and I'm now sleeping about 16 hours a day on average. It's literally feels like someone has drugged me when the tiredness starts. i haven't had anxiety issues, as such, just at the times when I've been struggling with breathing, it can feel kind of scary, which I guess most people would feel, but that must be really horrid for her. I'm heartened and pleased she is back at work now, but I imagine that must take it out of her if she is not fully recovered. I wish her all the best for her recovery

Yes, I'm determined will get there. I need to be patient. I do have better days, which have kind of seemed like a bit of a false dawn at times, as I think I'm on the mend, then go backwards again. I'm kind of resigned to that pattern now, and just hoping that the number of better days will increase and the not so good days will become fewer ...

Thank you so much for your kind words and support, Dazzy. It is much appreciated.

hope you are getting better winnie, I have heamochromatosis, which mean I have to go every other week to Good Hope every fortnight and get bled by the vampires... They take over a boody armful of blood every time. Upshot is I have a few days where I'm capable of getting out of bed...

Thank you so much for your well wishes Mondaze.

I must confess, I hadn't heard of your condition, so had to google. I know my little health blip is child's play compared to what you have to contend with. That sounds pretty grim. You must be so resilient and strong to deal with that. I'm only experiencing a little taster of what that must be like ... We take the ability to just be able to do things for granted when we are in good health ...

You look after yourself, Mondaze. Big hugs. Winnie xxx

    Winnie 🥰

I was watching an interview last week with a person (not sure if it’s pc these days to say lady or woman) who was a keen cyclist so when she caught the virus she was physically fit, if that makes sense.

Her fitness however was irrelevant because it has still left her with chronic fatigue and breathlessness which exactly describe your symptoms.

The answer seems to be the old adage time will heal so I hope the good days soon start outnumbering the bad Winnie 💐❤️ x

    Mondaze

Like Winnie I also had not heard of your condition and had to use Google.

With what you have to contend with Mondaze you must have a steely resolve.

    Take care. 🥰x
