I know he has to pander to the far right for votes given his socialist past but he should have chosen his words more carefully.
    I disagree.

Nobody should pander to these utter cunts. The idea that anybody should watch what they're saying so that they don't upset these biggotted, unhinged, medieval bastards is staggering.

It's the thin end of the wedge.

Agreed, Barbarians should not be pandered to and Freedom of Speech is paramount. However as the leader of a nation who has a duty of care to all citizens it would be wise not to provoke the nutters further.

I can’t shake feeling that this 2nd attack would not have happened if he chose his words more carefully.

LOL that’s the whole point - freedom of expression.

I don’t blame the muslim extremists - they are entirely transparent and predictable. I blame the authorities in Europe who invite the wolves into the sheep fold, know who and where they are but do nothing to prevent these atrocities.
Never have I seen such naivety and lack of understanding of cultural differences, Christ, the Europeans are even worse than the yanks who can’t understand how anyone couldn’t love Coca-cola, McDonals, political correctness and democracy.
Can I just state the obvious: these people do not think the same way as traditional Europeans. They have a different culture, they are not tolerant of other cultures, religions and people (and I’m not just talking about extremists here). Unfortunately many more will die till people get their heads out of the clouds.

We are our own worst enemy and the leaders of these organizations must laugh their heads off at our stupidity.

I see your point but in not provoking them, they are being allowed to win as the Freedom of speech is being muted.

He chose to insult an entire religion. He is free to do so but it was not wise when has to protect French citizens.

If a woman wears next to nothing on a night out and gets vulgar unwanted attention and pigs not keeping their hands to themselves, what will people say?

Everyone should be free to say what they want, everyone should be able to wear what they want without negative consequences.
