It's a horrid state of affairs however I wonder if Macron's words after the first attack poured fire on the flames and lead to this attack.
He pissed off a lot of leaders in the Arab world with his 'religion in crisis' etc rhetoric, so God only knows how it will have set off these extremists.
I know he has to pander to the far right for votes given his socialist past but he should have chosen his words more carefully.
