    Is encumbent maybe the word your looking for? Because encumbrance means something totally different

    Irrelevant anyway. You might get the odd fly by night chippy that holds a title for a while but the best fish and chips (and definitely nae puffin or whale suppers) is in Fife or mare specifically in Anstruther.

    I concur. Fife chippies are the bestest chippies. We had a few over the border in the coonty as well.

    Getting away from chips for a moment, what bugs me senseless is commentators (especially English ones) describing a team effectively (and wrongly) "belonging" to a player, e.g., Harry Kane's Tottenham.
