End of first quarter - Top 6

Despite all the negativity that is where we are.

A long away to go. Lots of room for improvement. Hopefully when McNulty is match fit we will be more potent up front.

    Too early for me.

I'm delighted we're not bottom. Five points from bottom is not exactly 'have a cigar' territory though.

So, until we can get 10 points clear from 2nd bottom, I'm steadfastly remaining pessimistic.

Don't think anyone's claiming it's cigar territory. It's a better start than most people were predicting though. Plus during most of that time Shankland has been out. I think you have to try and take some positives.

You'd definitely take the position, but that doesn't really take into account the performances or more importantly the trajectory of them.

Teams below us will be more concerned than we are. Also 9 points behind Hibs in 3rd is no mounting at this point, though unlikely to catch them.

Showing some fight amidst expected negatives whilst we adjust. If Mcnulty and fuchs are real deal then thats going to be great. we need to find a provider though and i think fuchs could be that (hopefully). Def something wrong behind scene but then many clubs are struggling. Maybe we have be frugal but the signing of Hoti is bizarre - the new king? Anyway a draw with aberdeen (who are years ahead of us) is no bad thing this season.
