    OT - the ad-blocker

Sometimes I get prompted to switch the ad-blocker off begore I can access posts. On other occasions I simply access the site and can get access for reading/creating posts and replying to them.

At a loss as to how/why that happens.

I think I have it sorted. Open the forum, switch off the blocker, refresh the forum. Now I can read and post. Switch the blocker back on and, as long as I don't leave the forum, I can continue to post ad-free.

The ones that appear on the right hand side of a message or the one that pops up in the black "pop up" at the bottom of the screen?

I think every now and then the site try's in vain to persuade you to be charitable and allow ads! This reminder popped up all last week, I simply clicked the button underneath. This week the plaintive plea has gone.

MA: immediately below the intrusive box when you login there is an option on black line that says "continue without disabling" that gets you thru the hassle. Its come back again to infect my computer this morning after a week away!
