Agree with this, I always think the players around Wood play better when he’s in the team. He never stops talking and organising them throughout the game.

Self inflicted wounds are always the worst. Guy who hit a game winning home run in a deciding baseball game here yesterday, in these COVID times went up for a high 5 with his team mate but using elbows, dislocated his shoulder

Masbro and Brin I agree with what you are saying as regards to leadership and reading the game but this dunt help when some quick champ forward waltzes past you when the ball comes over the top. Plus potentially he has to do this for 3 games in about a week.

Don't get me wrong. I love woody to bits and I hope you and he prove me wrong. I know he will give his all for the team plus he will be decent at set pieces. Mr Barlaser will just have to aim for his bonce which I m sure he very capable of doing. Assuming he aint knacked of course...

Well not a lot of people rated Tilt and apparently it was a mistake signing him so it shouldn’t be a big loss.

Nah, I'm still a Warney boy

Fact is,if it is Robbo who is knacked, woody is our only realistic option. Suppose you could play Harding or Thompson but they are right sided centre backs and not specialist centre backs so in Woody we will have to trust.

He will have Icky at the side of him who is quick enough so thats comforting to know. Assuming he int knacked of course.

I doubt it, he was subbed, injured player was still on pitch at full time
