Roberts wont be playing if he was one of the 4 players that tested positive...

Perhaps I have made a boo boo but I thought Roberts was simply injured and wasn't one of the gang of four. Mind you, it's quite possible that this week's testing reveals even more infections.

The club didn’t say which players - it’s four from Thomas, Roberts, DKE, JOB and Brindley.

We have to hope that no other players test positive this week, otherwise it’s either calling up youth team players or forfeiting the game. We’ll be lucky to avoid an outbreak in the squad - Leyton Orient had most of their squad catch it earlier this season when players kept coming in when they were feeling ill but didn’t think it was COVID. Didn’t we have a few players with colds last week?

This was the rule regarding COVID in July:

“If an individual has shown symptoms and tests positive for coronavirus, they must self-isolate for seven days before having to be swabbed again.”

Presumably the earliest the four can return will be the Halifax game a week on Tuesday (assuming they’re fit and don’t suffer too much).

3-0 to Kings Lynn. Doesn't Pedro Richards' son play for them?
