Nicola and Kate Forbes the cabinet secretary for finance at Holyrood have been begging for permission to borrow money so that the SNP controlled Scottish Government are not dependent on Westminster for funding.
However neither of them have explained how the Scottish Government would repay this money.
Despite what you may think I know plenty about politics both in Scotland and at Westminster.

You are completely clueless when it comes to financing devolved administrations, that much is clear. Your use of the term 'beg' is always a bit of a giveaway to your real motives, which are to show Scots up as modern-day Oliver Twists, not able to pay their own way. The irony is, it's people like you who are the true beggars, always wanting more from the English taxpayers.

Certainly aren't, but at least it should stop the tories on here from bleating about Scotgov for a while. Or probably not.

Perhaps you would remind us how an independent Scotland will raise funds to pay its way?

As you seem to think that you are an expert on this topic I look forward to reading where the Scottish Government obtains their funding for each financial year.

How do people on here not know that Scots currently pay taxes to the UK exchequer, which would stop after independence, since the taxes would be paid to the Scottish treasury. Like, any other normal country. If today has proven anything, it's that sending all our money to Westminster in the hope of getting some handouts back is not sustainable. If the south of England was fine, the rest of the UK would be left to suffer, the tories just don't care.
