Another one who doesn't understand Scots, Welsh, Irish, English pay taxes to the UK treasury, in return, the 4 nations of the UK, that includes England, receive their funding from the UK treasury. As we've seen today, the tories will always prioritise the south of England, 2/3 of normal/minimum wages fine for the jocks and the taffies, the scousers and the mancs, but when it comes to Londoners and highly-paid financial sector employees, 80% it is. Beggars belief that Scots can still support these clowns.

Each devolved Government is responsible for deciding its own rules regarding how to deal with this current Covid-19 pandemic.
That is why it is a shambles with Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland going it alone.
In my opinion the whole of the UK entered the National Lockdown together on Monday 23rd March 2020 and the whole of the U.K. should be deciding together at the same time what rules are going to be enforced with exactly the same number of Tiers.
I was hoping that you would be able to quote figures to back your sweeping statements.
You have obviously never heard of the GERS figures which were published a couple of months ago.

The GERS calculation is fundamentally flawed as you well know Islay so you really should stop using it as a beating stick.

'I enclose a link' that, if you can read it with an open mind, will demonstrate what a con GERS really is.

You asked how devolved administrations were financed and this was explained to you in as simple terms as I could manage. If you are still failing to understand, then there's nothing more I can say. As for the covid approaches, Scotgov took UK advice to put hospital patients into care homes as this was declared to be of no risk at the time. Now you and rros constantly blame Scotgov for care home deaths. England is also going into full lockdown on Thursday, something else your tiny little britnat mind has seemingly missed. **** the tories.

The UK was in surplus prior to the 2008 crash, no deficits anywhere. Since then, Scotland's *estimated* yearly revenues have increased by £20bn. GERS tells us though that Scotland's deficit is now £15bn, a swing of £35bn. Islay should now explain where the £35bn was spent, in Scotland, and since he's probably a GERS fanatic, I'm sure that will be easy enough for him.

By the way Islay, in the set-up to be introduced tomorrow, Tiers 1-3 in Scotland roughly correspond to Tiers 1-3 in England. England are going to be entering Scotland's equivalent of Tier 4 on Thursday but the tories will call it something else because following Scotgov's model would be too embarrassing for them.

Thanks for the link. It writes Scottish history and shows what could have happened. Is there a similar website that starts from where we are and actually charts a possible way forward?

The author of this article Gordon McIntyre-Kemp is not exactly unbiased when it comes to promoting Scotland.
    I enclose his Facebook page.
He is the founder of Believe in Scotland, the grassroots-action focussed campaign for Scottish independence. https://m.facebook.com/gordon.macint...2%3A1604321208

But then you're so anti independence nothing you say can ever really be considered as unbiased can it? As predicted you've found a reason to dismiss this because it doesn't fit your narrative.
