Looked solid yesterday (until the subs)

Thought it was the most solid we have looked since Bilic took over I think

Thought our midfield looked good, Grant looked good

    Some positives from last night

I agree BS - Ivanovic was a different class and Gallagher was full of energy and Grant looked a natural striker. Just hope Bilic does not change it as Sawyers needs to stay on the bench as useless!!

What the hell does Bilic see in Phillips? He’s s hite and consistently s hite and my 12 year old has a better touch!

Need at least three points from two away games coming up - minimum!

We did look solid and having 2 centre backs who are powerful and good in the air helped, however that pairing would IMO not work well against more mobile forwards, for me Ivanovic plus one of Bartley or AJ or Kipre will be the way we will set up for most games this season, Burnley are a bit of an anomaly now in the way they play...

Agreed we looked solid. That was my big concern after promotion.

I feel will score against teams less well drilled than Burnley and now we have a chance of not conceeding.

Would have loved 3 points last night, but a lot of positives and hopefully we can stay out the bottom 3 come the end of the season.

Good test for us last night. Burnley brute force all over the pitch. They are the leagues bully boys. Style similar to the Wimbledon, Bolton, Stoke etc of old. Cynical challenges when we threatened to break
    Our defence matched them
    Our midfield matched them
Our front men lost out, Pieters got away with GBH all evening, very poor refereeing.

I was a fan of Phillips but last 2-3 seasons haven’t been his best, what I’d give for a Zoltan who attacked the back post from a wide area
These days he’d get a stack of goals as I always see that as an opportunity but wide players don’t gamble these days

We need to be more savvy

I dunno I think this defence with Gibbs would be best for this season

I've been banging on about this for ages. How many times do you see a cross over hit and nobody there to take advantage. I''d always have someone lurking out wide of the far post to run onto and attack the ball.
