I think he is one injury away from retirement and is consequently cruising where possible. All last season he was on half speed and even then still injury prone.
Shame as he was one of the players who could actually cut it in this league … when fit of course.

A lightweight with a heart the size of a pea!

Give me a Neil Clement every day of the week over a fraud like Gibbs.

I loved Neil Clement as a player, a real stalwart.

Pity we haven’t got more players with his type of passion

Every single member of Megson’s first promotion side possessed this quality.

Yes, this is what this squad lack, some bite, grit and passion, and not only Gibbs.

Said it after the first game vs Leicester, and I have seen it in the following games too, players chatting and smiling after defeats - they should be fuming! Happy with the pay checks I suppose...

Yes we don’t have enough winners in the side but that’s been for a while now. I said that before the play offs against Villa, We had the better players but they had more fight in them.
Its controlled aggression, not raw stupidity like Kanu getting himself send off, or like Phillips the other night.
Ivanovic, Hegazi, and O’Shea have controlled fight in them.
Sawyers, Harper and Phillips are good examples of fine weather friends. When the going gets tough …. They wilt
