    Not sure that was/is the issue. Freds point was (I think), about the reality of our owner and others promoting a new competition that would (if fans in the ground have any part to play) result in tens of thousand getting on planes and jetting around Europe, for the sole purpose of swelling the bank balances of the already mega-rich clubs who promoted the idea in the first place (trebled all round!).

    ALAW? Not if you're amongst the great and the good methinks.

    Just a tad disappointed that within a few weeks of us returning to Premiership matches, that despite his "disgust" at Project Big Picture, our owner has joined forces with clubs who for decades we have considered as our opposition on and off the pitch, in an effort to make the highest level of club competition even more exclusive and "isolationist" in an attempt to enrich the few whilst further impovershing the many.

    Leaves a bad taste, at least for some of us.
