Sorry not to reply sooner - I'm trying to fathom out if I can still help out as one of the carers for an old friend who's nearing the end of his life and is in a Tier 3 situation - he's struggling like mad and needs all the help he can get - I fear for him if I and another can't go to see him for a few weeks...

think I'm clearer now about continuing to support him - he's told his GP to include me as part of his care team - been going 2-3 times weekly now for a while - so should be okay if challenged about my visits. AgeUK helpful as well, so thanks for that
