Even the forest commentary said they don't know why it took so long to make the decision. It was a stone Waller.

You have to bear in mind that the ref was a complete homer from the start and he was probably just checking in his mind if he could get away with not giving it.

Yep definite trip as Jones went through. So far all pens for and against us this season been right. Have we ever been given so many pens this early in a season?

Wonder if no crowds allow the ref more time to consider appeals beause normally the cry goes up and maybe 1 they can be swayed by a partisan crowd or 2 they feel they need to act quickly.

Think there may be a lot of pens this season in general -as long as we get our fair share... and more reason to ensure we have a specialist taker of em and our goalies practise saving the buggers as well because, so far for a big lad, blackman aint got anywhere near em. That has to improve if nowt else.

Where's the doubt? A definite stonewall certainty.

Great ball from Barlaser too that lead up to it, throwing their defender into a bit of a panic.

Nardendee, Did the ref ask you to post this to see if he got it right?

No I just found the slo mo on the Forest fans website and just wanted to hear views from our side. My wife can’t stand football but when I showed it her, even she says it was a pen.

I just wonder if the ref would have given it in front of a baying home crowd?

Looked to me like Miller brought him down so surprised the ref didn't give them a penalty
