#RUFC and Norwich charged by FA with failing to ensure their players behaved in an orderly fashion after Angus MacDonald’s red card at New York last Saturday. Both clubs have until next week to respond. There was a melee, but I’ve seen a lot worse.


I didn't see anything untoward apart from a few handbags at dawn. It certainly wasn't a mass brawl. I would argue it was quite orderly for a tackle like that. It was all over within 30 secs.

Goose was sent off and deservedly so why make a chuffin meal out of the incident?

Indeed, but when you look at the photo the ref is showing the red card after the Norwich players have piled in. An action designed to ensure the ref gives a red and not yellow
