    Scum Mail

Daily Mail at it again trying to destabilise us before a big game Apparently Rooney already got the managers job and he's been sounding out his coaches His allegedly spoken to all the senior players about the way he wants them to play . "Doing all this while in isolation " Or a Ferdinand has poked his nose into by saying we are appointing an unqualified white coach over black Rosenior . We did the same with Lampard according to him . Reporter also saying we've got a points deduction coming when the ELF appeal is heard Doesn't take a genius to know who is behind it does it .

I confess to never reading anything in that newspaper, but: (a) I didn't realise that we were restricted to appointing only black managers, presumably a new English Ferdinand League rule? I'm all for equality of opportunity, but not affirmative action. (b) I suspect that, if they win the appeal, they will not give us a points deduction this season, but rather in 21-22, as we wont need a points deduction to get relegated this year! Much better if we get it in the Third Division

In the words of the marvellous Stephen Stills, ‘There’s something happening here. But what it is ain’t exactly clear.’

For what it’s worth , I have no idea...but I think it must be increasingly hard for the players to perform against such a background.
Rooney isn’t qualified so I can’t see how he could take over, although there was a rumour earlier this week that Phelan would take over to ‘hold his hand’ and provide ‘credibility’ until the appropriate courses have been passed.

The attitude we see tonight might tell us something.

Geoff it was Les Ferdinand not Rio maybe they should be asking Chelsea why they didn't give the managers job to a black manager instead of Lampard . I think we will get a points deduction this season. The Daily Mail and EFL especially Rick Parry are determined to get MM you get no representation or an appeal at the next meeting , The rules state you can not take it to any other court, tribunal etc .

Not even outside the EFL "justice system", eg European Court of Justice etc (if we are still in it)?

That wasn’t the attitude of a team looking for a change of manager. Better team...deserved to win. Knockaert made a huge difference to them.
