I've always thought he was a decent player, but Sean certainly didn't fancy him. He's not god our Sean, he gets stuff wrong.
He has grown in confidence and has been delivering In the PL and now got his hat trick.
One that got away?
I've always thought he was a decent player, but Sean certainly didn't fancy him. He's not god our Sean, he gets stuff wrong.
I argued when he was with us Oc with our fans , he’s a very intelligent footballer who has a knack of being able to let the ball do the work without touching it , the ability to unsettle defenders without touching the football yet still be in control of it.
And last season I stuck up for him when all local Leeds fans slated him week after week because he didn’t have Aguero s scoring record for chances they created.
Wouldn’t you know it with Leeds fans this year he’s a genious a god ——- how fickle they are !!!!
Not looking forward to playing them at the minute , they Have pace aggression And a absolute hunger to win plus some very good footballers mixed in , they’re making the premiership look easy at minute.
Yes 27 shots on goal and 9 on target last night makes them look fearsome.
I’m not sure if we could have afforded him or his wages at the end of the loan, but Sean has never given loan players a big chance. I feel he is given players others want. Most.have gone to oblivion so he’s mostly right, Falannagan, GKNK Drinkwater come to mind,
His confidence his high, his luck is in, let's see how he does when Tarkowski clatters him within the first sixty seconds?
Yes, sinkov, sadly the days of being able to go in hard on an opponent, even when you win the ball fair and square, are long gone.
The last thing that is important at the top level of football in England is the ball. Every match I watch now sees players penalised for fair tackles and, in some cases, they are also cautioned.
We can't be reckless or endanger an opponent because we will be cautioned, if we use unnecessary force, which includes throwing the ball at an opponent, this is a red card offence.
The game has certainly gone soft and will get even worse.
There is no excuse for Pickford being allowed to stay on the field, there was a ref, a liner and the VAR officials able to view the incident from differing angles. It was simply incompetence by the officials on an epic scale, it was shameful, those culpable should have been given their P45s and pointed in the direction of the nearest job centre, they should never be allowed near a football match again.
