Saw his interview just after the game, I thought he was very good how he came across, but what amazed me was how much the lad was sweating ... like a bloody boxer!!! When was the last time you see a player after game interview so exhausted looking but also calm and composed. Man that man of ours sure knows how to get our lads into such shape, brilliant to see.

    Rev mate.......hat trick Patrick

2 years ago he had a bad injury and we played him the underdone cause of the injury crisis and the bombardment he was getting was unfair.
Then last season he was scoring but was criticized nonstop because of the misses and fair call but the thing was people were saying we need a 20 goal striker but forget he nearly or did get that amount but criticized him just the same.
I was all for him and continually fought the critics but in the end (my Fault) I started believing the critics. Glad he is playing and scoring well although he still misses some easy ones lol and long may it continue.

I have never been convinced about his scoring but fair play to him he seems to keep working and adding to his game.

First the work rate, the the fitness, then the build up play and looks like he is adding to the end product too.

I'm not going to talk him up too much because we know next game he could miss just as many easy ones. But if ever a bloke deserved to hit the back of the net its him. Works harder than most front men I've seen.
On the humerous side though, I told the lad I would have nearly given you a 100 to 1 odds him scoring a hatrick in the Premier League!

As George says, he should forever be titled "Hattrick Patrick" on here, hes deserved that at least!
Agree he will still miss a few and frustrate us in the future, but thats why hes not a 150M rated striker, giving full worth IMO.

I know it would be a really big feather in his cap but...

I really hope southgate does not pick him for the squad. bad things seem to happen.

HP (hat trick Patrick) just made the Garth Crooks’ team of the week too.
