Thought we paid over the odds for him when we signed him. I also thought that last 2 seasons that Bamford had been very guilty of not finishing off some great chances and I often said our attack was toothless, mainly due to Bamford.

His work rate though was always phenomenal and the more interviews I have seen him in, the more I think he is just a decent honest, humble hardworking footballer whom I have wanted to be successful.

Really delighted that he is currently adding a few more goals to his game this season (Maybe our recent signings are pushing him on too). Its early days still in the prem, but he has definitely started well.

Quality hatrick last night, every goal deliberate and no flukes.

Well it was definitely a game of 2 halves for him. I am really pleased for him as he has put up with a lot of stick (of which I have been guilty) and never given up. His work rate has always been very good; even last night he was tackling back on the edge of our own box late in the game. His post match interview was almost emotional.

Keep it up Paddy (but I will still call you Barndoor because it somehow fits).

He had a game of 2 halves. That's how to answer Mings. Usually can't have him and Harrison but they were bot, along with many others, were out standing. I think Klich is technically brilliant and to think Thomas Christensen sent him out on loan. Wtf. Meslier made some great saves. And Michael Brown was right in saying that people should be marking the refs card about Grealish diving. If that wasn't a pen, and it wasn't, why wasn't he booked. Exact same thing happened last season at Millwall and they got a pen and Berardi sent off.

Agreed, he works so f00king hard, and covers more ground than just about any other player, which for a No. 9 is something to be amazed at. Right about his performances early doors after joining, but stuck at it, was obviously showing Bielsa something he liked, and I agree also on the newcomers providing some impetus to his honing of his finishing.

Still say that the second was just like a rabbit out of a hat, totally unexpected, and the third was sublime, as good as any striker in any team, in any league anywhere in the world, long may it continue!

Frustrating at times last season with his finishing but fair play to the lad he works his arse off for the team and is now getting the fruits of his labour.

    Hatrick Bamford
