It's no wonder no-one is posting over there when the only thread is about Gretna Gateway.

It’s been down, unusable for 3 days.

I wouldn’t want lightbulb IT looking after my IT stuff that’s for sure. Fair play for replying on their board but it’s 3 days now - you need to rollback at least and lose the messages as it’s unworkable.

I thought that I would venture over there again and after taking an age to load (anybody else or just my phone?) I was saddened to see the Ban thread had turned into name calling and mud slinging and it's sad to see,I don't wish to stir the already overheated pot but why doesn't the Barry just put his point across on here as I'm sure that it will get back to the other forum?

Anyway I don't like to see posters continually taking pops at each other so I will give it a miss which is unfortunate because there are some funny people on there with Munchy making me smile,look forward to seeing you pop up in a few years time to suprise me with some Love MM

The Munchy_Magic sign on name kept getting banned on here years ago by the Swindon lot - it ended up something like Munchy______________________Magic in the end I had to re-register that many times.

I mean they were disgruntled enough by me calling them Swindle but they banned me because I claimed to have shagged five or six lovely girls from Swindon and gave their first names and where they worked.

Thing is in reality I had only shagged one, however I kept her identity secret and made the other ones up - it was apparent that they were a bunch of old men who would have retched against a wall if they had come into contact with something as innocent as a 'page three' image and the ban was to protect the integrity of the six made up bints.

The site wasn’t too bad last night and this morning but it’s down again (unusable) since 1pm.

I’m pretty sure lightbulb IT are doing a good job at trying to resolve but you’d have thought they’d have a test version and release.

I have 3 for my application, test, DR and live and push changes that way.

Leaving a live site live while they try to fix it is really bad practice.

I don't know why they seem determined to stick with EasyDiscuss. I remember they said that they would lose user posts if they switched to Discourse, but surely that is still better than not being able to access the site at all?

I don’t blame the mods as they were probably pressured into upgrading, the issues with the provider.

But I agree it’s maybe time to admit defeat with it and move over.

I do have sympathy as I implemented a messsgeboard for an escort site I was tricked into making and it was the bane of my life - I’m glad I got rid of it quick!

I’ve been found out.

I sold my services on gigable thinking I was building a site for cars, it’s when I got paid a fairly big sum and the images came I realised my mistake.

It was hitting 100k users a day at one point, before they took it over themselves and eventually closed down.
