    Today's game

    A bit of a shuffle.

Our from the last game are Mugabi, Lamie, Lang and Grimshaw. They are replaced by Maguire, Long, Cole and McGinley.

I can just hear Robinson now...we weren't that bad when we lost 1-0 lots earlier, we're not that good after a 4-0 now.

Which is fair enough, for a long spell there was little between the teams but we had that little edge up front and deserved to win.

A good evening though and an enjoyable afternoon - especially as Brown was left to do the commentary on his own.

A big result after a shaky first half. After not playing for a month, our last outing being a hammering, several absentees plus losing our first choice goalkeeper that was a very welcome scoreline and three points. Good to see four different goalscorers and the forward players getting on the scoresheet, something we've not seen enough of for a while.

Absolutely...if we'd lost, regardless of how, there'd be massive concern. Regardless of how we got there, it was a hugely convincing win against a side which has already beaten us this season.

But it's just one game - it's Livi away next which is a point at best on that pitch and Celtic after that. So the bottom two will close up and then there's pressure on again.

An important win after a long lay off. Great to hit the net 4 times and keep a clean sheet. Hope Carson isn't badly injured. Some decent performances especially up front, although the rearguard gave us some scares. Fortunately the Staggies were toothless up front.

Robinson's first comments on Carson make it seem like we might be without him for a bit.

Sounds like it with regards to Carson's injury. Another big concern but fortunately we recruited Chapman as cover especially with Fox out and Morrison on loan for the rest of the season.

Encouraging that our strikers got two 'inside the six yard box' goals and one which came from our guy outpacing the defender. Neither of these has been happening often enough recently.

Lot's of rationale and insight in the previous comments. But, for now, I'll take the 3 points, acknowledge we scored 4 (who saw that coming?), and just enjoy the fact we got to play.

Delighted with the win but I'm getting increasingly frustrated at having to watch on TV. I know there's nothing we can do about it until the virus is tamed but to be so detached from the action is a pain.

    Rant over.
